Northville Educational Foundation Opens 2025–2026 Grant Applications

The Northville Educational Foundation (NEF) is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2025–2026 NEF Grants: “Unleash the Power of Impact, Innovation, and Ignition!”

This year, the NEF is proud to commit $70,750 to support innovative ideas and meaningful initiatives through General Education and Student Grants — including $10,000 dedicated exclusively to Cooke School Grants.

For the second year, students are encouraged to dream big and submit their own grant proposals. With guidance from a teacher or school advisor, student voices and creativity help shape the future of learning across Northville.

The Cooke School funding, made possible by a generous donor, ensures projects are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of the Cooke School community. Together, these investments fuel imagination, open doors, and create lasting impact for every student — because when we invest in ideas, we ignite possibilities.

Grants will be awarded through a competitive review process led by an impartial panel. Proposals are evaluated based on:

  • Innovation: Does the project offer a unique approach to learning or teaching?
  • Impact: What effect will the project have on classrooms, teachers, and students?
  • Alignment: Does the project align with curriculum standards and/or the School or District Improvement Plan?

Applications are available starting August 27, 2025:

  • General Education & Student Grants
    • Deadline: Friday, October 24, 2025
    • Award Day: By mid-November 2025
